During meditation one day, I slipped into a forest and was greeted by two women. The journey was visceral: I was laying on the damp forest floor, wet leaves sticking to my back. The two women were on either side of me. I felt a pushing and tugging on my right arm, and when I looked, I saw open wounds, and one of the women was packing the wounds with daisies. The woman on the other side of me was doing the same on that arm. They made their way all along my body, packing each open wound with daisies.
It was the most vivid, healing, and striking meditation I’ve ever had. And of course, daisies have been very significant to me ever since. ♡
