Sometimes it’s hard to stay on track. You feel pulled in about a million different directions, and nothing feels good, because you want to do what you want to do, but you feel guilty, because you promised you’d do what you don’t want to do, but that just feels blah, man.
So what to do?
Take a breath. Big, deep, inward breath through your nose, filling your abdomen and then your lungs. Aaaand then release, out your mouth, squeezing the air out of your lungs and then out your abdomen.
Do a few of these big deep breaths. Your breath is what connects your higher self with your physical self. It’s how the divine in your heart communicates with the Divine at source.
And then split the difference and do what you freaking love, AND what you gotta do today. Kill it, darlin’!
These breaths I outlined are called Yogi breaths, and I learned this technique from Dr. Crimi at the Hikari Ryuza Center (www.ryuzado.com). What can I say, I steal the best, un-apologetically!
